Georgian Orthodox ceremonies at Our Lady of Damascus

On the 26th and 27th of January 2013, the Greek Catholic Church of Our Lady of Damascus witnessed three important functions of the “Valletta Saint John Chrysostom Georgian Parish”, namely a baptism, a wedding and Divine Liturgy. Georgian Orthodox Divine Liturgy

  On Friday, 14th December 2012, at 10.00 a.m., the prior of the Valletta Saint John Chrysostom Georgian Parish, Fr. Kirion Machaidze, assisted by Fr. Gabriel Gurtskaia, celebrated a Georgian Orthodox divine liturgy for the first time at the Greek Catholic Church of Our Lady of Damascus. There are about one hundred Georgian citizens living in Malta at the moment.
