With the blessing of His Grace the Most Reverend Mgr. Abram (Garmeliya), Metropolitan of the Western European Diocese of the Orthodox Patriarchate of Georgia, the Holy Relics of several Saints, together with documents testifying their authenticity, have recently been entrusted to the same Western European Diocese of the Patriarchate of Georgia.
On the morning of the 23rd November, 2013, on a feast day of the Great Martyr St George, these Holy Relics will be exposed for the veneration of the faithful in the Greek-Catholic Church of “Our Lady of Damascus” in Valletta. In this venerable Church, at 10.00 a.m., the Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom (Holy Eucharist) will be celebrated by the pastor of the St. John Chrysostom Georgian Orthodox Parish of Valletta, Father Kirion (Machaidze).
